Chopcot®T6
The objective of Chopcot®T6 is to have a closed chopper for dosing purposes. It is 20% larger than Chopcot® T5. Chopcot®T6 is also fixed on a skirt without bolting. After closing by tipping the chopper it is locked on the skirt. The safety switch interrupts the electrical feed to the chopper when it is in open position.
Chopcot®T6 chops into multiples of 6mm. The difference is created by different Chopcots® and back pressure rolls.
The change-out of the Chopcot® is normally done within half a minute by disconnecting the locking bolt. (See pictures Chopcot® T5)The skirt can be replaced by special housings or funnels, like Chopcot® 5. See example under "Products / Miscellaneous".
